About WeBeat
WeBeat was founded in late 2009 by Giacomo DiGrigoli and Holcombe Waller, each passionate about creating a new service in the volatile music space that would be valued by artists and fans alike. As a music artist who has independently sustained his work for 10 years, Holcombe understood both the challenges and possibilities of creating and realizing value with a digital medium that has a perceived value of zero. Giacomo brings a wealth of experience with digital payments and online community, and the ongoing conversation between these two friends generated the ideas behind WeBeat.
WeBeat believes that there is still tremendous value in digitally distributed music, and that this value is created by artists and fans alike through direct engagement with each other.
